How to create short video clips with IMABIRD

Start on the dashboard
This is the home screen. It shows you where to go next.

Open the app and go to the dashboard.

If your media is ready, open Releases or Assets.

If not, upload a source video first.

Start with one good long video.
Step 02
Create a release and upload your video
A release keeps one project together. This is where you make your first cuts.

Open Releases and create a new release.

Choose Cuts.

Upload a file, paste an existing media path, or use Browse Library.

If the file is already in your library, use Browse Library.

Set the basics and click generate.
Step 03
Open the editor
The first pass is only the start. Use the editor to shape the final cut.

Open a cut from the release list.

Trim the timing.
- 3
Move moments if needed.
- 4
Fix captions and layout.
- 5
Check the preview before you continue.

Use the editor features
These tools are part of the editor. Use them after the cut is open.

Pick a caption style.

Choose the ratio you need.

Turn on reframing for vertical video.

Use the prompt if you want a different result.
- 5
Export when the cut is ready.
Step 05
Schedule or publish
When the cut is done, send it out. Use the calendar to plan your posts.

Open Publishing from the sidebar.

Choose the cut you want to post.

Pick the platform, date, and time.

Add the caption and any platform details.

Queue the post and review the calendar.
